FOR TRAVELLERS COMING FROM THE US
Effective January 2007: U.S. citizens traveling by air between the United States and Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda will be required to present a valid U.S. passport, Air NEXUS card, or U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Document.
FOR CANADIAN TRAVELLERS
Current visits by sea and land border crossings require proof of citizenship and identity such as:
Drivers' license or other type of government issued identification
Birth certificate
As of January 23, 2007: A passport is required to visit the United States by air.
